Tips and other recommendations for living in Dar/Tanzania

Recomendation: "Back roads of Dar, bike tour with Afri-roots" is a great way of exploring Dar. This tour allows you to see the real way of life of the average Tanzanian and to hear their stories." The bike tour is recommended for people new to Dar. The bicycles are provided and it is very affordable.
Highly recommended travel agency for trips to northern Tanzania:

They have excellent guides and are not hesitant about driving that extra kilometer to see game. They say that other tour operators give their drivers a limit of how many kilometers to drive in a day while Matembezi drivers do not have a limit at all. Goodluck and Raymond come highly recommended as drivers/guides.
Recommended Dentist: Dr. Nazira Mostafova is a verychild friendly dentist but also good for adults. She originally worked at the Trauma Center but then set up her own practice. Her number is 0762-612-712 and her clinic is very conveniently located on Toure Drive, just beyond Sea Cliff toward Coco Beach. There's a sign for the clinic and it's behind the Princess Apartments.
